About Optimum Grains

Our family has been farming for generations and we have always specialized in grain -- accumulating a knowledge-base and expertise that comes from lifetimes of experience

Our Farm

Located in Fort St. John, British Columbia, the cold, wet climate allows us to produce an exceptionally heavy oat -- even compared to Prairie oats, which can struggle with weight ; heavier oats make for more protein and better nutritional value, and are a highly demanded product of our region

Right now we have approximately 7,000 acres dedicated to grains, approximately 1,500 - 2,000 acres for grass-seed, and we are currently expanding our capacity in order to further specialize into high-quality, gluten-free oats and oatmeal, which is where we are seeing the market trend

Our Facilities

We are proud of how much we have been able to grow and advance our farm over the last few years, and have brought to fruition so many projects and advancements -- like our newly constructed grain-processing facilities, a testament to our ability to identify opportunities and see them through in a big way

This brand new grain processing and packaging facility is geared towards 50lbs or smaller, mini-bulk bags of feed: mixers, roller mills, and everything else we need onsite to mix and blend quality feed for any livestock; we are also expanding into grains geared for human consumption and should be ready in this capacity in the near future

Our Plans

With a new feed-mill under construction, we are excited to expand into new markets and hope to be able to pursue direct-sales opportunities in the years to come

We're ready to connect with buyers for high quality, processed and packaged bulk-grain
